The button with the openwork Celtic knot ornament has an eyelet on the back with which the button is sewn onto the fabric. Ideal for LARP and medieval re-enactment garb.

The Celtic button is available in brass or silver. Made of Zamak.
Diameter: 2 cm.

Buttons actually appear relatively late in Europe and are not very common before the middle of the 13th century. In the Middle Ages, buttons were mostly spherical and mostly made of pewter, until buttons covered with fabric also came into fashion from the beginning of the 14th century.
