Germanic knife from the early Middle Ages
This knife, which is as shapely as it is practical, is excellently suited for a wide range of tasks in the everyday life of historical camps. Ideal for authentic representation in Germanic and early medieval re-enactment.
The short blade of the early medieval knife is sturdily and securely connected to the handle made of walnut wood with a small bone plate - as was often usual in the early Middle Ages.
The well-shaped knife handle makes the small, robust early medieval knife particularly suitable for carving and all requirements in the kitchen.
Dimensions: The blade has a length of 8 cm with an overall length of the knife of 19 cm. Blade width 2 cm, blade back 4 mm.
The blade is made of not rust-resistant high-carbon steel. Occasional sharpening and polishing keeps the knife beautifully sharp.
A sturdy leather sheath made of a rustic saddle leather with loop is included.
