Germanic knife with skilfully twisted handle.

Here you can buy a small knife that was made according to historical models from the Roman Iron Age.

The Germanic knife has a beautifully curled handle with ornate twisting design and a highly polished blade.

These small knives are often attributed to the Vikings and labelled as Viking knives. But historically this type of knife cannot be found in the finds of the Viking Age, but dates back several centuries earlier to the so-called Roman Iron Age.

The twisted Germanic knife comes complete with a simple leather sheath for the belt.
Alternatively, a sheath with a long, adjustable leather strap is also available so that the knife can be worn around the neck.

The knife is supplied in basic sharpness. For a sharper edge, we recommend sharpening the blade with a stone or sharpening steel.

Dimensions: approx. 14.5 x 3 cm. Blade approx. 6.5 cm.
