On the back of the Viking decorative rivet is a pin 5 mm long. To attach the rivet, simply put on the small cap supplied and securely fasten it with a few light blows of the hammer.
The Viking town of Birka was one of the most important trading places of the Vikings in the area of the Baltic Sea and was already founded around 800 AD. Birka was located on the island Björkö, the Birch Island, in the Swedish Lake Mälaren in the realm of the Svear, barely 30 km away from today's Stockholm.
During excavations, a large number of finds were found, not only from the culture of the Vikings, which provide insights into life, crafts and trade in the Viking Age.
