Magyar bronze mount from the Viking Age.
This openwork bronze mount is made after a Magyar find from the Viking Age, which served as a belt pull-through on belts.
The historical model for this Viking Age fitting comes from grave Bj1125B from Birka and was used for an oriental arrow quiver set.
The bronze mount has an opening of 1.1 x 0.5 cm, through which a strap can be passed through a slot in the belt. This is a very decorative way to attach a bag or an arrow quiver or similar to the belt.
The Magyar mount is made of high-quality bronze and is also available in genuine silver-plated.
Fastening: There are four pins on the back of the Magyar bronze mount. To attach it, simply pass the pins through the holes in the leather. It is best to use pliers to bend the tip of the pin inwards a little. If you then tap the pins flat with a hammer, the tip will sink into the leather and the Magyar bronze mount will be stable and flat fixed on the leather.
