Replica of a medieval belt eyelet made of bronze.
This medieval belt fitting in floral form was made after a model from the late Middle Ages and serves as an eyelet for belt holes.
Floral eyelet fittings made of brass, bronze or pewter were quite common in the Middle Ages - they served as decorative belt fittings and at the same time protected the thorn holes from fraying.
A stylish and authentic addition to historical belts in medieval re-enactments.
Fastening: There are three bronze pins on the back of the medieval eyelet fitting. To attach the fitting, simply pass them through the corresponding holes in the leather. It is best to use pliers to bend the tip of the pin inwards a little. If you then tap the pins flat with a hammer, the tip will sink into the leather and the belt fitting will be stable and flat on the belt.
