Medieval kidney pouch with metal fittings.
This beautifully shaped medieval kidney pouch is made from robust leather and very spacious. Kidney pouches like this one were typical for the late Middle Ages between 1400 - 1500 AD.
The characteristic shape of the kidney pouch can not only found on medieval paintings, but also in the archaeological material of bags from the Middle Ages.
The replica of a medieval buckle after a historical model is the eye-catcher on the front of the kidney pouch and closes the belt pouch securely. Two curved metal fittings decorate the bag flap as in medieval models.
Dimensions of the kidney pouch: 22 x 22 cm.
The belt loops are suitable for belts up to 5 cm wide.
The kidney pouch is available in black or brown leather with silver or brass buckle and fittings.
