Strap passage fitting for a Viking bag.

This bag fastener is intended as a strap passage for bag flaps of Viking bags and is a matching addition to the Birka bag fitting.

The strap passage is attached to the front of a bag and then simply pushed into a hole on the bag lid.
With a strap passed through from above, the bag can be securely closed in this way.

In terms of material, colour and dimensions, the bag closure is perfectly suited as a counterpart to the Birka bag fitting.
However, the clasp can just as well be used without it.

Made of zamak in brass and silver colour.

Strap passage fitting dimensions
Strap hole 3.8 x 1.3 cm.
Hole diameter 4 mm.
Passage 1.6 cm wide, 1 cm high.

Two matching rivets for fastening are enclosed.
