Viking belt with bronze buckle from Gotland.

This 2 cm wide Viking belt is provided with a bronze buckle in Borre style after a find from Gotland / Sweden, dating to the 10th century.

Link to the historical model...

The leather belt can be worn knotted due to its length and is therefore ideally suited for Viking and medieval reenactment garb. Two embossed lines along the sides also give the Viking belt a slim line.

Two sizes
are available:
Belt N: Length 157 cm - Circumference 86 - 104 cm
Belt EX: Length 172 cm - Circumference 96 - 114 cm

The bronze buckle measures 4 x 3.4 cm. A matching strap end is also available.

The robust, open-edged Viking belt is made of strong cowhide in 2.8 - 3.2 mm thickness. The velvet-matt waxed belt leather acquires that natural patina over time that is so characteristic of genuine, vegetable-tanned leather.
You can tell at first glance: This belt is characterised by longevity!

A neat leather belt for every situation in Viking and medieval re-enactment, cut directly from the tanned hide and not sewn, but sturdily riveted.
