Large Viking knife with carbon steel blade.
This high-quality Viking knife was inspired by historical models from the Viking period between 800 and 1000 and impresses with its beautiful design.
The outstanding feature of this Viking knife is the nobly designed knife handle, masterfully crafted from stabilized walnut wood, genuine water buffalo bone and inlays of polished brass and leather.
The large knife blade is made of 1085 carbon steel with approx. 56 HCR Rockwell and comes with a rustic forged black finish that underlines the historical character of this Viking knife.
The flat oval shaped handle ends with a small ring that allows the knife to be easily pulled out of the solid cowhide sheath.
Such a knife was typical for the Viking era and is therefore still perfectly suited for the historical camp life in the Viking reenactment and can be used for just about any task due to its strong blade and well-balanced walnut handle.
The Viking knife has the dimensions:
knife length 26 cm
Blade length 14 cm
Blade width 2,8 cm
Knife back 0,3 cm
