Medieval leather belt in 4.5 cm width.
This striking, wide leather belt is made of solid cow-core leather of 3 - 3.5 mm and has a hand-forged buckle with rivet plate.
The sturdy, practically indestructible belt made of strong cowhide leather with the time-typical D-buckle is inspired by historical models from the Middle Ages
Two sizes are available:
S: 165 cm circumference 92 - 107 cm
L: 180 cm circumference 105 - 120 cm
Two slender lines embossed in the leather give the belt a particularly elegant look.
The belt has the length customary in the Middle Ages. So you can wear this belt wrapped, with the protruding end of the belt strap hanging elegantly to the ground. Simply ideal for garb in larp and medieval re-enactment.
D-buckles forged from iron with a rivet plate were already worn in antiquity during the time of the Celts and Romans. They can also be found in the finds of the Germanic Iron Age and the Viking Age, and especially in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
