Hair bead in the shape of a spiral.

Here you can buy a spiral hair bead or hair bead, which can be adjusted in length.

The hair spiral is made of flexible metal wire, which can be easily pushed together or pulled apart. Therefore, the hair spiral can be made smaller or larger as desired.

The hair spiral is available in brass or silver colour.

Dimensions: 26 x 10 mm. Hole diameter 7 mm.

For threading a hair bead or beard bead it is quite helpful to point the hair strand a bit with some hair gel or even water, so that it can be led more easily through the hole of the bead.

Before threading the hair spiral onto the strand of hair, you can also use a small beard gum or braid gum for particularly straight hair. This makes it much easier to place the bead and also ensures that it sits securely in the hair. A real re-enactor will of course use a small piece of yarn for this...
