Viking Torque after historical models.

Buy here an authentic Viking Torque that was made after the model of historical neck rings from the Viking Age, which date back to around 900 AD.

Typical for the Viking torques were several twisted, flexible bronze wires, which could be easily put on by bending and unbending.

This Viking torque is also made of flexible bronze wire and therefore has excellent flexibility.

The Viking neck ring is available in high-quality bronze or in genuine silver-plated.

This braided Viking Torque is suitable for a neck circumference of up to approx. 48 cm.
The diameter is approx. 15 cm. This Viking Torque is therefore equally suitable for men and women of normal stature.

The Viking Torque has a thickness of 8 mm and is very comfortable to wear with a good 100 grams weight, so that the neck ring is hardly noticeable after a short time.

The Torque is generally known more as the jewellery of the Celtic warrior, but in almost all Central European peoples of antiquity, the neck ring was common as jewellery. Until the migration period, neck rings were worn by the Germanic tribes even by women.

Only in the course of late antiquity, the neck ring became an exclusive male jewellery and remained in Northern Europe even until the Viking Age. The neck rings of the Vikings were usually made of narrow silver or bronze wires in twisted or braided form and usually ended in a hook closure.
