Forged beef fork from the Viking Age.

The medieval beef fork is based on historical models from the Viking Age and is completely forged by hand from one piece.

This Viking beef fork has a beautiful twisting in the handle area, and the end of the fork has been artfully forged into a hand-forged ring.

The strongly curved tines of the beef fork make it easy to pick up the food to be roasted and turn it with a small movement in the proverbial twinkling of an eye - simply perfect for everyday camp life in larp, Viking and medieval reenactment - but of course also a stylish attribute for every leisure griller on the barbecue at home.

Forged barbecue utensils were already in use in the time of the Celts and Romans, and later iron meat turners were also used by the Teutons and Vikings to fish the pieces of meat conveniently out of the cauldron or to turn them over on the barbecue.

The Viking beef fork measures 30 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm.

The legislator in Germany requires a food law certification according to the Foodstuffs and Consumer Goods Act (Lebensmittel- und Bedarfsgegenständegesetz, LFBG) for use with food. However, such a certification is very expensive and would have a negative impact on the favourable sales price. Thus, we offer this forged roasting fork quasi only as a prop, which at least by definition is not certified for food.
