A black leather cord in 1 m length for the Lunula pendant is included.

The Slavic Lunula amulets in the shape of the half moon are symbols for the female powers and illustrate the power of the moon. The Lunula pendant of this kind was especially meant to give protection to the unborn life and also to protect the mother from harm.

The Lunula amulet was already in use among the Romans, which suggests the deep emotions that people have always associated with the moon. Thus, moon pendants as a symbol of the Roman moon goddess Luna can be found in many Roman settlements, field camps and burial grounds from the 2nd century AD onwards. Likewise, Lunula amulets were also popular among the Germanic and Slavic peoples.
