The Ukrainian Tryzup in the shape of a falcon.
If you want to do something for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, you can buy that striking charity-pendant that is designed in the shape of a falcon and impressively replicates the silhouette of the Tryzub.
100% of the net profit from the sale of this Tryzub pendant
will be donated to the organization
"Deutschland hilft" for the Ukraine emergency aid and thus we try to make a contribution to this humanitarian catastrophe.
The Tryzub falcon is designed in the art deco style of the 1930s, in memory of the
Holodomar, the time that already brought much suffering, loss and displacement to Ukraine, similar to today.
On the back of the pendant, the official Ukrainian tryzub is depicted in the centre, and on the wings are the
Cyrillic inscriptions with the Ukrainian call "Slava Ukrajini! Herojam Slava!" - "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!"
The Tryzub falcon is made of high-quality
bronze and is also available in genuine
silver-plated, using a particularly thick silver-plating of 100 grams of silver per kilo.
In addition to the large falcon pendant, you can also buy a smaller Tryzub falcon and a pair of earrings in the same shape and size, as well as a complete set with pendant and earrings together. Again,
we will donate the entire net profit to Ukraine Emergency Relief.
The
dimensions are 4.2 x 2.8 cm.
A black leather strap in 1 m length is included.
The Ukrainian Tryzup is actually the small
national emblem of Ukraine, which came into force with the Constitution of Ukraine adopted in 1996, and goes back to a design by the artist V. Krycevskyj in 1918.
However, its historical roots go much further, as the first historical evidence dates
back to the Rus period and was found especially on coins and rulers' emblems from around 1000 AD onwards, which showed a stylized trident.
The original meaning of the Tryzup is still unclear today and there are
many legends, but it is assumed that the Ukrainian trident is of Tatar origin and represents a stylized falcon. In a modern reading, the word WOLJA / ВОЛЯ for Ukrainian freedom is also thought to be recognised in the Trysub.
