Replica of the so-called Ödeshög Mjölnir.

Here you can buy a striking Viking Mjölnir, modelled according to the famous Ödeshög Thor's Hammer.

The Mjölnir of Ödeshög is one of the most remarkable Thor's Hammer finds of the Viking Age and comes from the Swedish village of Ödeshög in Östergötland.

In contrast to the overwhelming number of rather plainly designed Viking Thor's hammers, the Mjölnir from Ödeshög stands out due to its luxuriant decoration with filigree granulations.

The essential feature of the Mjölnir of Ödeshög, apart from the filigree granulations, is especially the upper end, which is shaped in the form of a stylised owl's head with large eyes and beak.

Our replica of the Mjölnir of Ödeshög closely follows the historical original, however, the replica is not provided with applied granules, but is cast in a single piece, whereby the filigree design is nevertheless very well expressed.

The Mjölnir from Ödeshög has the dimensions: 3.3 x 2.3 x 0.8 cm.

You can buy the Mjölnir from Ödeshög in high-quality bronze or in real silver-plated.

A black leather cord of 1 m length is included.

The Mjölnir was the magic hammer of the Norse god Thor, with which he fought against the enemies of the gods. Mjölnir means crusher or lightning.
In the 9th and 10th centuries, the Mjölnir was widely used as a necklace, as it made it possible for Old Believers to distinguish themselves from the emerging Christians.
